LMR Technical Group Awarded AETC CRAFT Contract to Optimize Fighter Pilot and Aircrew Training Performance

Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Secures Multi-Year Task Order to Maximize Aircrew Readiness Across AETC Installations

DALLAS, TX — LMR Technical Group (LMR), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and recognized leader in warfighter human performance optimization, has been awarded a task order in support of the Comprehensive Readiness for Aircrew Flying Training (CRAFT) program, managed by the United States Air Force Air Education and Training Command (AETC) from Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.

The CRAFT program is a premier Air Force initiative designed to optimize aircrew as high-performance human systems. By integrating evidence-based cognitive performance coaching, strength and conditioning, and precision performance nutrition, CRAFT prepares pilots, boom operators, loadmasters, and other aviators to maximize the training value of every aircraft sortie and simulator mission, significant investments of Air Force time and resources.

Under this task order, LMR will deliver CRAFT services across AETC installations, providing one-on-one and group consultations in areas including cognitive performance, body composition and performance nutrition, fatigue and stress management, academic study strategies, and strength and conditioning. The program is designed to enhance aircrew readiness from initial training through the full spectrum of operational demands.

“We are honored to support AETC’s mission to develop the world’s most capable Airmen. CRAFT represents the gold standard of human performance optimization, and LMR is proud to bring our deep expertise in warfighter readiness to this critical program,”

— Chris Larkin, CEO, LMR Technical Group

The task order (FA489025F0072), valued around $77.5 million, will be performed primarily at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, with work beginning during the transition period of February 11, 2026. LMR has an established track record supporting Air Force and DoD human performance programs, including previous work across the Human Performance Optimization (HPO) Multiple Award IDIQ supporting aircrew, Special Warfare, and other high-demand communities.

This task order was awarded under the Human Performance Optimization (HPO) Master Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle, awarded by the U.S. Air Force on April 1, 2024. The HPO Master IDIQ is a multiple-award contract with a $988 million shared ceiling and an ordering period extending through March 31, 2034, with an option for an additional five-year period. Designed to enhance the physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities of military personnel across the Air Force enterprise, the vehicle supports a broad range of services,  including education and training, program management, engineering and technical services, and professional services, all specifically structured to optimize aircrew and warfighter performance, decrease occupational injury rates, accelerate return to duty, and ensure sustained combat readiness across Air Force major commands.
